Glen Roy Smith, Jr., 57, of Williamson, WV, died Wednesday October 29, 2014 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Memorial funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday November 9, 2014 at Borderland Baptist Church, Williamson, WV. Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens. Glen was born October 16, 1957 in Williamson, WV a son of the late Glen Roy Smith, Sr. & Anna Marie Stotridge Smith. He was a 1975 graduate of Williamson High School, a member of the Borderland Baptist Church at Borderland, WV and a member of the U.T.U. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mada Deerwester, Janie Dillon & Anna Lois Smith and one brother, Foster E. Smith. He is survived by four sisters, Carson England of Winston-Salem, NC, Gladys Copley & Lucille Spencer both of Williamson, WV, & Gleneda Smith of Fountain Inn, SC and one brother, Monus John Smith of Portsmouth, OH. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
