Reba Arminta Thompson
(July 7, 1933 - October 13, 2014)



Reba Arminta Thompson, 81, of Huntington, WV, died Monday October 13, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 PM Thursday October 16, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with pastor John Carter officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Reba was born July 7, 1933 in Culloden, WV a daughter of the late Oliver & Viola Chaney Harbour. She was a member of the Guyandotte Chapter #89 O.E.S. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hume Thompson, a daughter, Viola Ruth Thompson, granddaughter, Janessa Blevins, 9 brothers & sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Vanessa & Rick Adkins & one son, Micah Thompson all of Huntington, two sisters, Pauline Morrison of Barboursville, & Charlotte Wood of Culloden, one brother, Clifford Harbour Amsterdam, NY, four grandchildren, Stacy & Ron McPherson, Andrea & Richard Cooper, Francesca & Scott Roberts, & Sable & Adam Bowen, five great grandchildren, Christina, Braylee, Lindsey & Alyssa Roberts & Kelsey McPherson. Pallbearers will be Steve Wade, Scott Roberts, Gary Hesson, Michael Lusher, Hartley Adkins & Carl Sanns. The family would like to thank the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House and Dr. Nitardy of the Marshall Internal Medicine.
