Obituary


Damon Scott Holley, 62, of Barboursville, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1953 in Huntington a son of the late John A. Holley, Sr. and Dorothy A. Simmons Holley. Damon was a retired police officer with over 25 years' service to Marshall University Police Department. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron "Scotty" and Jessica Holley of Milton; two grandchildren, Emma Grace Holley and Landon Cash Holley; and his stepmother who raised him, Betty Holley of Huntington. A special thanks to his special friend, Jenny Day who cared for him during his sickness. According to his wishes there will be no services and donations made be made in his name to Good Hope Baptist Church, 29 Kilgore Creek Road, Milton, WV, 25541.
