Obituary

Phyllis Jean Johnson, 80, of Huntington, widow of Robert Lee Johnson, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1935, in Booten, Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Audie and Ruby Bradshaw Stiltner. She also had a daughter, Deborah Ann Fry, and a brother, Roy Lee Stiltner precede her in death. She was retired from Owens Illinois. Survivors include her grandson and his wife, Derick Fry and Jessica Fry of Huntington; a brother and his wife, Audie Stiltner, Jr., and Patty Stiltner of Charleston, WV; and a sister-in-law, Carrie Mae Stiltner of Wayne. This vibrant and loving woman was "Granny" to all of the kids that came through her door over the years. She will be greatly missed but will always be in our hearts, especially any time someone asks if we want something to eat. At her request she will be cremated and there will be no services.
