Richard Trogdon, Jr., 82, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. He was born December 2, 1933 in Holden, WV a son of the late Richard Trogdon, Sr. and Effie Francis Trogdon. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant, having served during the Korean War and Vietnam War. Survivors include: his wife, Melda Mae Clay Trogdon; two sons, Steven Lee Trogdon and Michael Wayne Trogdon; a daughter, Saundra D. Trogdon Kendrick; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; four younger sisters; and two younger brothers. A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 pm Monday, May 2, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Diana Clay officiating. Veteran's Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct Military Rites. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 pm Monday at Chapman's Mortuary.
