Alma E. Lowe, 90, of Huntington, widow of Paul J. Lowe, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born May 1, 1926 in Huntington a daughter of the late Pleaze John and Gracie Cremeans Porter. Two sisters, Faye Coyle and Ella Morgan; and a brother, Jimmy Porter also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Sue Adkins of Proctorville; son and daughter-in-law, Paul J Lowe, Jr., and Sondra Joy Lowe of Huntington; five grandchildren, Paul Lowe III and Tamara, Jerry Lowe and fiancée Rhonda Daniel, Edward Adkins III and Amanda, Ella Darlena Thomas and Tim, and Roddie Joe Adkins; 11 great grandchildren, Paul David Lowe IV, Jessica Lee Lowe, Makayla Lowe, Olivia Lowe, Alysha Lowe, Jerra and Darren Perdue, Amanda Joy Lowe, Timmy Thomas, Jr, Paula Thomas, Edward Earl Adkins, IV, and Hannah Grace Adkins; and five great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Doug Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. Friends may visit family one hour prior to services Tuesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
