Julia M. Nicely, 79, of Ashton, WV, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born January 11, 1937 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of Harrison and Mary Hodge Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings. Julie was a homemaker. Survivors include: her husband of 58 years, Raymond L. Nicely; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca and Richard Dean of Barboursville, WV and Christy Heaberlin of Ashton, WV; six grandchildren, Jodi, Katlin, Paige, Aerial, Megan and Bradley; four great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Rudy Hagley of Lesage, WV; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Harrison Gibson, Jr. and Earline Gibson of Lesage, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday, July 8, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Tim Dean officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00am to noon Friday at Chapman's Mortuary.
