Marguerette Grace Sears, 91, of Huntington, went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, July 1, 2016 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Friday, July 8, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Tommy Jeffrey officiating. Burial will be at a later date. She was born March 1, 1925, at Bainbridge Island, WA, a daughter of the late Gus and Ellen Reiton Lund. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Donald Sears, two sisters, Mary Ellen Lund and Ruth Lund; one brother, Andrew Lund, and one son-in-law, Ray (Butch) Robinson. She was a homemaker, attended Davis Bowen United Methodist Church and was a member of Guyandotte Chapter #89 O.E.S. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Robinson of Huntington; one son, David Sears of Port Orchard, WA; two sisters, Martha Lund of Paulsbo, WA, and Jean Springer of Washington State; two grandsons and their spouses Donnie and Connie Robinson of Huntington, and Robert and Amy Robinson of Proctorville, OH; four great-grandchildren, Nick Robinson (Kelsey), Brandon Robinson (fiancé Amanda), all of Huntington, and Sydney Robinson and Sam Robinson both of Proctorville, OH; special friend Ada Wooten. The family wishes to thank Kevin and Alisha Grayson, and the staff at Grayson's Assisted Living for Mom's good care for the last 6 years. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service time Friday at the funeral home.
