M. Willa McComas, 86, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Huntington, died Friday July 15, 2016 at Abbots Wood Assisted Living, Raleigh, NC. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Woodmere Memorial Park's Abbey of Remembrance with Brother Andy Sampson officiating. Burial will follow. Willa was born January 20, 1930 in Ranger, WV, a daughter of the late Winfield W. and Sallie Finley Marcum. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McComas, three sisters, Callie Lawson, Edith Johnson and Ruth Marcum and one brother, George Marcum. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Bourgeois of Staunton, VA and Valerie Martin of Columbus, OH, two sons, Randall McComas of Raleigh, and Guy Martin of Winchester, KY, one sister Gladys Breeding of South Point, OH, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:30 PM Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington. The procession will leave the funeral home at 2:30 Wednesday.
