Obituary

Sharon Kay Wilcox, 76, of Huntington, passed away Friday July 15, 2016, in St. Mary's Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Keith Wiebe, Jr., officiating. She was born October 15, 1939, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Luther V. and Allene C. Wetzel Barber. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Gospel Church. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alan Harley Wilcox; one son Chad Alan Wilcox both of Huntington; one sister and her husband, Beverly and Herb Webb of Richmond, KY; one brother and his wife, Jim and Connie Barber of Huntington; sister-in-law, Glenna Lovins; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Glen Jackson; former sister-in-law and her husband, Donna and JD Wolford; 7 nieces, Jamie Barber, Lisa and Terry Thomas, Teresa Killian, Mia Simpson, Sarah and Daniel Hall, Beverly Lovins Dunlap and Lesley Worley; 3 nephews, Aaron Webb, Todd Lovins and Kevin Lovins; numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. The family will visit with friends from 1:00pm to service time Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace Gospel Church 1111 Adams Avenue, Huntington, WV 25704.
