Lorane Doris Ward, 97, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 11, 2016, in Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH. She was born April 16, 1919 in Glendive, Montana a daughter of the late Tracy and Julia Stewart McClaine. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Ward and six siblings. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and John Ward of Huntington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Mary Ward of Fredericksburg, VA and Tracy and Patricia Ward of Mt. Nebo, WV; a sister, Jacqueline Richards of Branford, FL; six grandchildren, Mark, Heather, Jonathan, Amy, Rachelle, and Beth; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Jerry Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Catlettsburg Cemetery, Catlettsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
