Obituary


Mark Anthony Duncan, 49, of Huntington, passed away suddenly Friday March 25, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1966 in Huntington, WV. Mark was a licensed plumber through the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 521. Survivors include his father, Cliff (Cathy) Duncan of Chapmanville, WV, and his mother Sherri McClure of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by his son, Ryan, who was the joy of his life; his brother, Rick (Libby) Duncan of Salt Rock, his step-brothers Ricky Wells of Blaine, KY, and Jeremy (Kassandra) Wells, of Appleton, WI, his step-sister Valerie Wells Rodighiero, of Chapmanville; his mother-in-law Katherine Smallridge; several nieces and nephews; Joleene Duncan, the mother of his son; and Lynda Duncan, step-mother. Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Duncan; his paternal grandparents, Clifton and Clara Duncan, and his maternal grandparents, Howard and Lorraine Cliff. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1pm March 30, at Chapman's Mortuary in Huntington, WV, with Pastor Randy Skeens of Central United Baptist Church in Logan, WV officiating. Burial will follow at Centenary Cemetery, Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will be from 12-1pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
