Obituary


Arthur H. Malcom, 93, of Huntington, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born May 7, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to the late James Verner Malcom and Grace Valentine Tiffany Malcom. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Iris K. Malcom; a son, Calvin (Sharon) Malcom of Williamstown, WV and daughter, Grace Malcom of York, PA; two granddaughters, Melody (Joe) Wright and Holly (Zac) Johnson of Williamstown, WV; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Elsa Malcom of Portland, OR; five great granddaughters; and two nieces Suzanne (Jim) Pond of Portland, OR, and Cyndi (Skip) Hansen of Chino Valley, AZ. He was a retired Professional Engineer, and a member of the Society of Professional Engineers, early Charter Member of the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, C.P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society since 1968 where he was the Museum Director for the 1308 in Ritter Park. He was a charter member of Contact Teleministries, and a member of Enslow Park Presbyterian Church where he had been a member of the choir and Elder Emeritus. As per his wishes he was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will occur in the Peru City Cemetery, Peru. IL.
