James Edward Reynolds, 88, of Proctorville, OH, died Tuesday March 22, 2016 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday March 26, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Ernest M. Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. James was born September 6, 1927 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Uel and Polly Hicks Reynolds. He was retired from CSX Railroad and was a member of the Western Star Lodge #11 A.F. and A.M. He was preceded in death by a grandson Richard Reynolds, son, James B. Reynolds his wife of 67 years, Olive Louise Reynolds, four brothers, Verlin and Harold Reynolds and 2 infant brothers, Richard and Eugene Reynolds. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Reynolds of Gallipolis, OH and Sue Houck of Proctorville, one son, Robert L. Reynolds also of Proctorville, 5 grandchildren, Jamie Houck, Johnetta Brandon, Amy Jackson, Christina Colley and Michael Montgomery, 12 great-grandchildren, Toby and Jaden Montgomery, Rachael and Ryan Houck, Brian, Chase and Jamie Brandon, Madison and Aaron Jackson, Jaderianne and Meghianne Colley and Brianna Teaford and one great great-grandson, Peyton Colley and numerous nieces and nephews.
