Mary Marie Mooring, 101, of Ashland, KY, died Wednesday March 23, 2016 at Community Hospice Center; Ashland, Ky. Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Monday March 28, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Jeremy Couture officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Mary was born November 20, 1914 in Wayne, WV, a daughter of the late John and Letha Mitchell Berry. She was retired from the former Kerr Glass Company. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Gorrell Mooring, one son, Michael Mooring, one grandson, Chris Mooring and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Karen Kay (Mark) Hannah of Ashland, two grandchildren, Jim (Mimi) Muth of Naples, FL and Monica (Ralph) Martin of Ashland, seven great grandchildren, Ryan, Ross and Rece Martin, Jim, Lauren and Iaian Muth, and Krissy Mooring, and five great great grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family after 11:00AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
