Larry Edsel Asbury, 74, of Huntington, WV, died Monday December 25, 2017 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday December 28, 2017 at Sunshine Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Jody Fortner and Pastor Ivan Asbury officiating. Burial will be in Dock's Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Larry was born April 9, 1943 in Wayne County, WV a son of the late Frank and Sadie LeMaster Asbury. He was a retired sheet metal worker and a member of Sunshine Free Will Baptist Church. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Linda Kay Asbury and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include three sons, Brent Allan Asbury, Brian Scott Asbury and Blair Thomas (Jennifer Ann) Asbury all of Huntington, three grandchildren, Cameron Michael, Kaylen Grace and Zachary Thomas Asbury, two brothers, Neeley Asbury of Huntington and Irvin Asbury of Jacksonville, FL, and a special nephew, Ivan Asbury of Ashland, KY. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
