Wanda Faye Keaton, 78, of West Hamlin, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born May 19, 1939 in Hamlin, WV a daughter of the late Willie Marshall and Mary Elizabeth Lilly Dailey. Others preceding her in death were sisters, Ethel Vickers and Betty Dailey; and brothers, Willie "Pooch" Dailey and Basil Dailey. She was retired from Lincoln Co. Board of Education after 31 years of service, having worked as a secretary at Hamlin Elementary School. Survivors include four sons, Robert (Jamie) Keaton of Hamlin, Michael (Teresa) Keaton of West Hamlin, Doug (Stacie) Keaton of Culloden, and Tim Keaton of West Hamlin; a sister, Edna Mae Miller of Tazewell, VA; a brother, Billy Arnold Dailey of Cleveland, OH; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Portersville Missionary Baptist Church, West Hamlin, of which she was a member, with Rev. David Vickers and Rev. Harry Moore officiating. There will be a gathering with a meal held immediately following services in the Fellowship Hall.
