William Herbert Bolen, 61, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2017. He was a local mechanic for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Jean Carter, father William Herbert Bolen Sr, and sister Mellissa Dawn Workman. He is survived by his children Matthew Paul Bolen of Huntington, Samantha Jo Schmidt of Huntington, and Joseph William Schmidt of Huntington and 9 grandchildren; sisters Charlotte Ann Jenkins of Huntington, Mary Louise Hicks of Huntington, and brothers Daniel Ray Bolen of Huntington, Robert Dale Bolen of Huntington, Michael Anthony Bolen of Huntington, Walter Scott Workman of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday December 22, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Charlotte Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery, South Point, OH. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
