Obituary

Hortense I Barber
(January 22, 1936 - December 20, 2017)

Hortense I Barber, 81, of Huntington, WV, widow of Russell Barber, died Wednesday December 20, 2017 in Heartland of Riverview. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Woodmere Memorial Park with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. She was born January 22, 1936 in Hurricane, WV a daughter of the late Carlisle and OPkel Martin Searls. She attended HEHS and Grace Gospel Church. Survivors include her son Kim A Barber of Grove City, OH, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
