Obituary



Kenneth Edward Lyon's, Sr., 81, of Barboursville, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at his residence. He retired as a construction foreman, and was a US Army veteran. He was born January 1, 1936, in Hagerhill, KY, a son of the late William and Matilda Mellila Watson Lyons. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Danial Trautwein officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Greenlief Lyons; three daughters, Renee Lyons-Krimm (Paul), Amanda Lyons all of Barboursville, Courtney Lyons-Griffith (Wes) of Bainbridge Island, WA; two sons, Kenneth Edward Lyons (Robin) of Keyser, WV, John Scott Lyons (Wendy) of Scottown, OH; one sister, Brenda Kendrick of Savannah, GA; three brothers, Michael Wolfe (Gina) of Colorado Springs, CO, David Wolfe of Huntington, William E. Lyons of Ceredo, WV; 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
