Larry David Earwood
(February 10, 1942 - August 25, 2010)



Larry David Earwood, 68, of Lesage, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Friday, August 27, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery, Lesage, WV. He was born February 10, 1942 in Huntington, WV a son of the late James Lester and Lillie Elizabeth Erwin Earwood. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Lynn Hurst; a son, Larry Earwood, Jr; an infant son; a brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Dorothy Earwood; a sister and brother-in-law, Ocie and Mike Williams; a sister, Leona Earwood; and two brothers-in-law, John Burdette and Mike Adkins. He was a machinist for Greif Brothers Corporation and was a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mary Henry Earwood; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Kelly Earwood and James and Erica Earwood; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tonia and Brad Stover and Kimberly and Steve Hall; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Jerry and Virginia Earwood, Eddie and Nancy Earwood, Lowell Earwood, and Charles and Susan Earwood; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Wilma Burdette, Linda Adkins, and Shirley and Marshall Reynolds; and five grandchildren, Lily Earwood, Elias Earwood, Sydney Earwood, Jaylon Earwood, and Cody Stover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV 25702. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary.
