Robert "Bob" Noel
(February 1, 1934 - August 11, 2010)

Robert "Bob" Noel, 76, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010, in Heritage Center. He was born February 1, 1934 in Logan County, WV a son of the late Otto S. "Ott" Noel, Sr. and Goldie Lorena Hensley Noel. His son, Terry Noel, also preceded him in death. He was a retired truck driver for Atomic Distributors and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include: five children, Rob Noel, Billie Noel Watters, Tim Noel, Lori Noel, and Mike Forbush; his siblings, Jackie Westcott, Phyllis Spencer and her husband, Bart, and Steve Noel; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two former spouses, Sandee Noel Harris and Carol Noel Forbush; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of Heritage who cared for him for the past four years and a great appreciation for Mary Beth and Ray and also Randy Westcott. Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Bob Barbour officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Chapman's Mortuary. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 9738. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a college scholarship fund for Kayla McCormick at 831 21st. Street, Huntington, WV 25703.
