Linda Ballard McCain Lusher

Linda Ballard McCain Lusher, 68, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. She was born August 31, 1941 in Huntington a daughter of the late Carroll Fisher Wood and Helen Gertrude Gooseman Ballard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Lyle Lusher and a daughter, Justina Dawn McCain. She was a retired cashier from Harts (Big Bear) and was a member of Trinity Church of God; VFW Post 9738 Ladies Auxiliary; and the Cabell Wayne Association of the Blind. Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, John D. McCain and April, of Calhoun, GA, Jeffrey T. McCain and his wife, Jennifer of Proctorville, OH, and Joe McCain and his wife, Lisa of Huntington; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Lynn McCain Jaco and her husband, Stephen of New Johnsonville, TN; five grandchildren, Erica Dawn Moyer, Kristina Denise Griffen, Mason Cain Dailey, Margaret Patricia McCain, and Ella Claire McCain; a half brother, Richard Ballard of Huntington; and a very special friend, Evelyn Woods of Huntington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Huntington in memory of Lloyd Lusher. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, August 30, 2010, at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington, with Rev. Ken Toler officiating. Friends may call after 1:30 PM Monday at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
