Carl L. Eves
(June 7, 1920 - March 14, 2010)



Mr. Carl L. Eves, 89, of Huntington, husband of Ida F. Chapman Eves, died Sunday, March 14,2010, in the Lincoln County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hamlin, WV. Private funeral services were held on Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Ridgelawn Abbey, Ridgelawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Michael S. Chapman officiating. Burial was in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. He was born June 7, 1920 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Evan and Letha Sullivan Eves. He retired from Houdaille Industries, was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WW II,a member of the former Southside United Methodist Church, Western Star Lodge # 11, AF & AM, and Beni Kedem Shrine. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and William Pack, of Barboursville, WV, Cecilia and Ronnie Dolin of Huntington, WV; 5 grandchildren, Scott Dolin, Amanda Pack, Benjamin Dolin, Matthew Pack and wife, Kristen, and Michael Pack; and 3 great grandchildren; Caleb Dolin, Trista Esque, and Kellena Dolin. Chapman's Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
