Truman Warren Fugate

Truman Warren Fugate, 89, of Huntington, WV, died Sunday September 19, 2010 in Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday September 23, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Ernie Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Truman was born February 12, 1921 in Huntington WV a son of the late Robert E. & Bessie L. Carroll Fugate. He was retired from the former C & O Railroad and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Patsy A. Gillespie Fugate, 1 daughter & son-in-law; Rebecca & Danny Flora of Hampton, VA, 1 granddaughter; Anastasia Coberly & husband John also of Hampton, 3 great-grandchildren; Brett, Justin & Alexandra Coberly. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. The family would like to thank Avis Fugate, Danny & Becky Gillespie for all their loving help.
