Forest H. "Frosty" Hendricks
(August 16, 1926 - September 23, 2010)



Forest H. "Frosty" Hendricks, 84, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday September 25, 2010 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. Caudle Adkins officiating. Burial will follow with military graveside rites conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard Post 16, Huntington, WV. He was born August 16, 1926 in Greenbottom, WV. One daughter Judy Hendricks Neal preceded him in death. He was a US Marine Corps veteran serving during WWII, retired from CSXT as a Special Agent in the Engineering Department with 46 years of service, was a 50 year member of the Huntington Masonic Lodge #53 AF&AM, whose members will conduct Masonic graveside rites, Huntington Commandery #9 Knights Templar, Huntington Lodge #6 Grand Chapter of West Virginia R.A.M., and a 50 year member of the Beni Kedem Shrine. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lillian Moreland Hendricks of Huntington; one son, Forest H. Hendricks, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Chapman's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call after 12:30 pm Saturday at the cemetery.
