Fonda Fluty Ashworth
(July 10, 1922 - February 23, 2013)


Fonda Fluty Ashworth, 90, of Huntington, widow of Frank A. Ashworth, passed away Saturday February 23, 2013, at the Rose Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center, Culloden. She was born July 10, 1922, in Martin County, KY, a daughter of the late Samuel and Vada Horn Fluty. She was also preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Ritchie of Barboursville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Jill Ashworth of Milton, and David Lee and Amy Ashworth of Barboursville; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday February 26, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Ernie Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family wishes to especially thank the staff and friends at Rose Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care and friendship. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice in Fonda’s name. Friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
