Mary Kathryn Edwards Mitchell, 87, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25,2013, at 3:44 pm. She was born June 10, 1925 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Lacy and Ada Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husband Maston Madison Mitchell. She is survived by three children, Jonathan Lee (Sheila) Mitchell of Lesage, Victoria (Vickie) Sue Mitchell of Huntington, and Mary Elizabeth Mitchell Neal of Huntington; five grandchildren Tara Mitchell Sevy of Lesage, Trena and Hen Aviv of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brandi Neal of South Point, Tiffany Neal of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Cheree Neal of Huntington; and seven great-grandchildren Namon Sevy, Leandra Sevy, Tamar Aviv, Zeon Aviv, John Tyler, Jacob Tyler, and Titus Sevy; and one great-grandson on the way, Brayden Neal Jarrell. The visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, at 10:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Duane Smith officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.
