Christopher Howard Deskins 43, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away Monday February18, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington with Rev. Kevin Campbell and Rev. Fred McCarty officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born August 12, 1969, in Canton, Ohio a son of Howard R. and Barbara J. Burton Deskins of Huntington. He was a 1987 graduate of Boyd County High School. He was a truck driver for Quality Carriers, and a member of Ashland Plaza Church of the Nazarene. Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Shelley Wilks Deskins of Flatwoods, KY; one daughter, Alexis Deskins of Barboursville, WV; two step-daughters, Kaitlyn Bradley and Emily Molter, and one step-son, Sean Quesenberry all of Flatwoods, KY; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Athena Deskins of Pleasant View, TN; and one nephew, Brent Deskins of Nashville, TN.
