Kenneth Dale Edwards
(October 18, 1953 - February 11, 2014)



Kenneth Dale Edwards, 60, of Huntington, WV, died Tuesday February 11, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday February 14, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Kenneth was born October 18, 1953 in Greenbrier County, WV a son of the late Robert James & Ethel Maude Curtis Edwards. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Vietnam and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by one son, Shawn Edwards & one granddaughter, Amy Townson. Survivors include his wife Judy Edwards, one daughter, Traci Edwards of Okla., two stepdaughters, Angela Chapman of Huntington & Tonya Marcum of Nashville, TN, one son Rick Edwards of Iowa, one stepson, Curtis Burdine of Huntington, two sisters, Cheryl McCallister & Tina Edwards, one brother, Robert Edwards all of Charleston, WV, 4 grandchildren, Teresa Kimball of Huntington, Faith & Phillip Cook both of Nashville, and a special grandson T.J. Burdine of Huntington, and 4 step great-grandchildren. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday February 13, 2014.
