Samuel Dale Vaughn, Sr.
(September 3, 1958 - February 28, 2014)



Samuel Dale Vaughn, Sr., of Lesage, WV, died Friday February 28, 2014 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday March 2, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Charlie Spears officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Chesapeake, OH. Sam was born September 3, 1958 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Loren Garland & Edna Louise Barker Vaughn. Two sisters & two brothers preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ray Vaughn, one daughter, Beth Ann Ellixson & husband Shawn of Greenup, KY, one son, Samuel Dale Vaughn, Jr. & wife Heather of Lavalette, WV, one sister, Sheron Payne Burlington, OH, four brothers, Hershel Vaughn & Bill Vaughn both of Burlington, Carl Vaughn of Scottown, OH, & Randy Vaughn of Wayne, WV, 6 grandchildren, Shawn Ellixson, Jr., Amber Vaughn, Edna Ellixson, Morgan & Madison Vaughn and Colby Ellixson. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary after 12:00 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Chapman’s Mortuary to help with expenses.
