Roger Dale Ellis, 65, of Proctorville, OH, died Saturday August 25, 2018 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday August 28, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor John Harris officiating. Burial will be in Porter-Ellis Cemetery, Beech Fork, WV. Roger was born April 4, 1953 a son of the late Pearly and Doris Porter Ellis. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jesse and two brothers, Michael and Billie. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Lovejoy of Ellenboro, NC, three sons, Westley Ellis of Spring Hill, FL, Jason Fowler of Forest City, NC and Jason Ellis of Charleston, WV, six sisters, Shelia Daniels, Doris Harris, Maudella Ellis, Kitty Eaves, Vesta Parrish and Tammy Akers, two brothers, Herman Ellis and John Adkins, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his companion, Jean Walters. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
