Obituary


Charlene Rebecca Walker, 86, of Huntington, WV, sweet and generous, went on to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 6, 2018 from the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born September 29, 1931 in Logansport, IN, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Mae Taylor Pearson. Charlene also had a sister, Donna Burkett, a brother, Robert L. Pearson, and a special sister-in-law, Beverly Pearson, precede her in death. She was an assembler at the T.M. Morris factory. She was a member of Crosswinds Methodist Church in Logansport and attended Jefferson Avenue Church of God in Huntington. Survivors include her children, Robin E. Pearson and wife, Sandra, and Cynthia R. Gaby and husband, David, all of Logansport, IN, Susan D. Knox of Huntington, WV, Stephen L. Pearson of Lutz, FL, Beth Ann Sanders, and husband, Daniel (whom she loved as her own son) of Tampa, FL, Shelia K. Troutman of Springfield, MO, and Donald E. Hess; two sisters, Janet Estes of Indianapolis, IN and Helen JoAnn Starbuck; a brother, Tommy Pearson of Logansport; grandchildren (Courtney, Tricia, Krystal, Lindsey and Mellenie) and many great grandchildren. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time in Huntington, WV.
