Dara Mae Phillips, 90, of Huntington, wife of 74 years of James Paul Phillips, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born August 28, 1927 in Pocahontas County, WV., a daughter of the late Gilbert L. and Blanch Brock Buterbaugh. In addition to her parents, others that have preceded her in death are two sisters, Virginia Vanettie and Janice Ritter; and a son-in-law, James Watts. She was a retired sales clerk having worked at both the Sears and J.C. Penney Co. department stores. Additional survivors include her daughter, Yvonnia Lynn Watts and granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Templeton, both of Barboursville; and a special neighbor, Sandy Bellomy of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, August 10, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Rob Reed officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit family one hour prior to services Friday at Chapman's Mortuary.
