Gregory Todd Farnsworth, 55, of Williamstown, WV, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born September 24, 1962 in Marietta, OH, a son of the late Jack Farnsworth and Avanell Farnsworth Brookover. A brother, Bradley Farnsworth also preceded him in death. He was a former Executive Chef for the Marietta Country Club, Lafayette Restaurant and other fine restaurants in the Parkersburg and Marietta area. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Pam Farnsworth of Rush, KY; a sister, Jennifer Farnsworth of Parkersburg, WV; his sister-in-law, Brenda Farnsworth of Marietta, OH; special nieces and nephews, Veronica, Jeffrey (Debra), Jarron (Oneida), Autumn, Crysta, Taylor, Brooke and Brianna; several adorable great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, "Puddy". Gregory's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be planned at a later date in the Marietta-Williamstown area. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make memorial donations in his name to your local animal shelter.
