Teddy E. Crisp, 84, of Catlettsburg, Ky, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 at Saint Mary's Medical Center. He was born April 22,1934 in Wayne County, WV. He was the son of the late Teddy Jackson Crisp and Ida Mae Graham. Ted served in the United States Navy and worked in the drywall construction industry. He was passionate about raising game roosters and chickens. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Sue Terry, twin sons, Andy and Danny Crisp; son Teddy Jackson Crisp and grandson Russell Andrew Yates Jr. He is survived by sons: Bruce Terry (June Terry), Russell Yates (Aida DeBerardinis), Paul Crisp, Thomas Crisp and daughters Robin Pennington (Harlan Pennington) and Mary Winders (Thomas Winders) as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a special nephew Fred Crisp. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at Meade Station Church Of God, 10255 Cedar Hill Dr. Ashland, KY at 11 am with Pastor Rick May officiating. American Legion Post 93 will render military rites. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
