Grover Henderson Lively, 83, of South Point, OH, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Grover was born on July 4, 1935 in St. Albans, WV, a son of the late Grover H. Lively and Emma J. Miller Lively. Mr. Lively was a general laborer for many years in various factories throughout the area. He enjoyed home improvement projects and watching the Fox News Network. He was a very good father and grandfather and was the most amazing companion to his fiancée, Alice Chinn. Besides his parents, Grover is predeceased by two brothers, and a son. Surviving him are his fiancée, Alice Chinn of South Point, OH; a brother, Danny Lively of Ashland, KY; three sons, Steven Marshall Lively of Huntington, WV, David Bryan Lively, of Canton, OH, and Timothy Allen Lively of Ceredo, WV; a daughter, Karen Marie Cyrus of Rittman, OH, eight grandchildren, and his favorite niece and nephew, Bonnie Jo Jackson and Kyle Lee Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, 1:00 PM at Woodmere Cemetery, Abbey of Peace, in Huntington where burial will follow. Friends and family may call thirty minutes prior to the services at the cemetery.
