Obituary



Janice Blair Jones, 65, of Huntington, WV, died Friday November 30, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday December 4, 2018 at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Teresa Deane officiating. Janice was born September 16, 1953 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Marvin and Juanita Flynn Blair. She was a retired school teacher from the Wayne County Board of Education and a member of the Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Jones, one daughter, Courtney Blair Plymale and husband Mickey of Columbia, SC, three grandchildren, Harper Blair, Hadley Catherine and Hayes Franklin Plymale, one brother, Greg Blair and wife Sonya of Howard, OH, two nieces and a nephew, Tiffany Reynolds and husband Tim of Culloden, WV, Amber Caldwell and husband Dennis of Barboursville, WV and Clay Blair of Columbus, OH. The family would like to thank the staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, the members of the Johnson Memorial United Methodist and St. Paul's Lutheran Churches for all their loving care. In lieu of flowers the family suggests making donations to the Backpack Ministry at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Janice's life will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday December 3, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington.
