Tina Marie Shoemaker, 51, of Ona, wife of Dexter A. Shoemaker, died Sunday, November 18, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born January 2, 1967 in Huntington a daughter of the late Brown and Jewell Hunt Stevens. Tina also had a sister, Rose Hathaway and a brother, Denver Stevens precede her in death. She was a former caregiver and attended the First Huntington Christian Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Rhonda Shoemaker and their children, Willy and Savanah of Olive Hill, KY; two daughters, Faith Farris and her children, Zoe and Raylon of Ona, and Katelyn Black and her husband, Tyler Black and their children, Coleton and Wyatt of Barboursville; a sister, Shirley Ross of Huntington; and a brother, Dennis Stevens and his wife, Brenda Stevens of Huntington. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Rosemont Memorial Gardens on Big Ben Bowen Highway, Huntington, with Pastor Delbert Dixon officiating. Burial will follow services at Rosemont Memorial Gardens.
