Obituary

Aaron Marshall Jones, 35, of Proctorville, OH, formerly of Huntington, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1983 in Charleston, son of the late Bert Allen Jones, DDS., and Gloria Jean DeMoss Jones. A sister, Lori Lynn Jones and a brother Chad Erik Jones also preceded him in death. Aaron had been attending Marshall University studying Medicine. Also, Aaron had currently been a server at Bob Evans. Survivors include a sister, Marni Rice, her husband, Kim Rice, and their children, Jack, Camryn, and Nick, all of Urbandale, IA; a brother, Bert Allen Jones, Jr., of Hurricane, WV; a daughter, Lillian "Lilly" Perry; three aunts and an uncle, Rosemary Francis of Hurricane, Betty Jones of St. Albans, WV, and Marilyn and Wayne Cody of Raleigh, NC; A step-father Wes Reed; An expecting girlfriend Tiana Taylor; a very close friend, and his fiancée, Zack Black and Stephanie Foster; and a God Daughter , Zoey Black. Aaron was one of a kind and will be missed dearly by anyone who knew him. A memorial service will be conducted 6:30 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Norway Avenue Church of Christ, 1400 Norway Ave. Huntington, WV 25705, with Rocky Meadows officiating. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
