Benjamin Franklin Swann

"Benjamin Franklin Swann (1832-1923) was a son of Josiah & Rachel (Morrison) Swann. He is pictured here, at age 90, in the back yard of his home on Center Street Barboursville. To his right is his son Francis Marion Swann, grandson Leslie Jennings Swann, and great grandson Leslie Jennings Swann, Jr. Ben built his home (not pictured) in 1868, when he moved from Ousley's Gap to Barboursville. The house, located at 708 Central Avenue, is presently home to Call Insurance Agency."
