Obituary



Ida Fern Cobb Campbell, 89, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, October 11,2016 at Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility in Ashland, KY.  Graveside services will be conducted at the Plybon Cemetery, Huntington, WV., at 1:00 pm Friday, October 14, 2016 by Deacon Greg Sanders , Deacon Phil Sanders, Rev. Thom Malcolm and Singer Kelly Sanders. Burial will follow.  She was born March 25, 1927 in Cabell County, WV the daughter of the late Ray H. Cobb and Flora Plybon Cobb.in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Pearlie W. Campbell, daughter; Sandra Kay Campbell, grandson: Jason D. Nance, brother Raymond Cobb and sister Juanita Bradburn
She was manager of the former Dunfee Shoe Store with 34 years of service.  She was a member of the Mount Union United Methodist Church and the Business and Professional Women’s Club.  Ida loved meeting new people.  Survivors include: two daughters and a son in law; Carol Nance and Ogarita and Robert Sanders all of Huntington, WV., grandchildren and spouses include: Stacy and Michelle Nance of Milford, Ohio, Jeri L. Nance of Huntington WV, Greg and Amanda Sanders of Russell, KY., Phil and Kelly Sanders of Flatwoods ,KY., Stephen and Amanda Sanders of Huntington, WV. Great grandchildren include, Holly and Clay Nance, Lakie, Ethan and Matthew Sanders, Emma and Hannah Sanders and Zoey Sanders, brother and sister in law: Donald and Joan Cobb of Brunswick, GA and several other relatives and friends.  Friends may call from 5-7 pm Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, WV.  There will be no procession to the cemetery.  The family would like to give a very special thank you to the staff of Woodland Oaks and Hospice of Ashland.
