Letha Evelyn Buckley
(July 12, 1941 - October 16, 2018)



Letha Evelyn Buckley, 77, of Salt Rock, WV, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel , Barboursville, by Rev. Lonnie Wilson. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. She was born July 12, 1941 in Salt Rock, a daughter of the late Lonzo and Vicie Swanson Lucas. She was a longtime member of Lincoln Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Buckley; one sister, Glenna Lucas and two brothers, Clovis Lucas and Joe Lucas. She is survived by three sons, James A. Buckley of Salt Rock, Len Buckley of Ona, and Jack Buckley of Barboursville; three brothers, Edward Lucas, Gail Lucas and Barbara both of Salt Rock and Rev. Michael Lucas of Ceredo, WV; three sisters, Vesta Coleman, Kathryn Beckett and Bernard both of Salt Rock, and Violet Gue of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
