Bracken Damron Jr.
(January 5, 1938 - October 3, 2018)


Bracken Damron Jr., 80, of Ona, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum, Milton, by Pastor Troy Nicely. He was born January 5, 1938, in Chattaroy, WV, a son of the late Bracken Damron Sr. and Hazel Gertrude Harris Damron. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jodie Hager Holley; one son, Kenny Damron; and one sister Betty Chastain. He is survived by his wife, Lois Damron; one daughter, Danielle Cooper (Timmy); one son, Drew Smith; two sisters, Linda Gayle Farley and Trudy Poole; one brother, Mike Damron; five grandchildren, Jessica Hager, Kuristen Martin, Blake Hager, Sam Caldwell, and Eli Caldwell; four great-grandchildren, Kenzie Bailey, Michael Bailey, Ryker Martin and Hadley Martin; and several nieces and nephews. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
