Rodney Clay Chaffin
(June 19, 1969 - October 29, 2018)

Rodney Clay Chaffin, 49, of Ashland, KY, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. He was born June 19, 1969 in Huntington, a son of the late John and Doris White Ward. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis France and Jackie Adkins. He is survived by one daughter, Brittany Ann Abadie (Tyler Matthew) of Metairie, LA; five sisters, Patty Chaffin of Barboursville, Ella Roe of Huntington, Delores Smith of Barboursville, Shanna Blankenship of Huntington, and Misty Chaffin McCoy of Ripley; one brother, Brian Chaffin; and special friend and “brother” Adam Honaker. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
