Barbara Ann Adkins, 76, of Huntington, WV, died Monday May 16, 2016 in Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, WV. Funeral service will be conducted at noon Wednesday May 18, 2016 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville, WV, with Pastor Dan Londeree officiating. Barbara was born September 3, 1939 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Charles Fredrick Ross and Ruby Ella Mae Thompson Neal. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather who raised her, Arna Roscoe Neal, Jr, her uncle Carl Ross and her stepmother, Erma Lee Ross McSweeney. She was a member of the Pea Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Rick) Madding of Greer, SC, Regina (Oak) Hall of Marlinton, WV, one brother, Ronnie (Rita) Neal of Sallisaw, OK, five grandchildren, Allie and Chase Erlewine of Marlinton, Jimmy and Connor Madding of Greer and Stone Hall of Marlinton, and one Uncle Charlie Neal of Huntington. Visitation will be after 11:30 AM at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
