Rev. Hershey L. Carnes, 76, of Barboursville, WV, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. He was born October 15, 1939 in Sweetland, WV a son of the late Kessley and Hazel Stallard Carnes. Three siblings also preceded him in death. He was a minister, a member of Pentecostal Truth Ministries and was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Dana Reynolds Carnes; two daughters, Dianna D'Amico of Erie, PA and Kristy Legg of Huntington; two grandchildren, Shayne Miller and Connor D'Amico; a sister, Janie Tiller; and three brothers, Kess Carnes, Larry Carnes and Randy Carnes. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in Neal Cemetery, Milton, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the funeral home.
