Susan "Suzy" Byrd Perry, 69, of Barboursville, widow of Thomas Gerald Perry, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral mass will be conducted 10:00 am Monday, May 23, 2016, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Paul Yuenger and Father Dean Borgmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born July 17, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA. a daughter of the late Arden Wayne and Jean Eckert Bomeli. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Leo Byrd. Suzy was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and was a psychologist with ACT and TS, and an Avon Products Representative. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Heather Renee Byrd Perry Brent and Benjamin Brent of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley Thomas and Anita Byrd of Charleston, WV; two sisters, Laura Christine Spickard and husband, Rick Spickard of Pittsburgh PA. and Ellen Louise Huff of Clendenin, WV; and eight grandchildren, Brandon Scott Brent, Kaitlin Renee Brent, Amanda Nicole Brent, Benjamin Luke Brent, Leah Marie Brent, Christopher Ray Brent, Julianne Ruth Byrd, and Penelope Eleanor Byrd; and many special friends. Friends may visit family 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday at Chapman's Mortuary and a vigil service will be conducted 5:30 pm Sunday at Chapman's Mortuary.
