Ernestine Flo Gillispie, 83 of Durham, NC, formerly of Huntington, died Tuesday May 10, 2016 in Pruitt Health. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday May 14, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Paul R. Farley officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Ernestine was born January 26, 1933 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Dailey and Edith Laura Tooley Booth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Gillispie, one daughter, Karin Sue Gillispie and one brother, Bill Booth. Survivors include her daughter, Gretta Jo Gillispie of Milton, WV, her son, Steve Gillispie of Rougemount, NC, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great greatgrandchildren, one sister, Loudema Booth Surbaugh of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and one brother, Roger Mark Booth, Sr of Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday May 13, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary.
