Obituary

Robert "Bob" Beard Jr. 52 of Lexington KY, formerly of Huntington, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Robert Lee Beard, Sr and loving sister, Jennifer "Susie" Beard. Robert is survived by his two sons, Robert Lee Beard III and Zachary Jacob Eby Beard who were the joy and love of his life. Robert was a loving father who shared laughter, the excitement of an Eagles football game, the patience and history of model trains and many other interests with his sons. Additional survivors include his loving mother, Laura Beard sister Kim (John) Stinespring, and his devoted twin sister Roberta (Steve) Thompson. He has several nieces and nephews who were lucky and blessed to call him Uncle Robert. Robert was a graduate of Vinson High School in 1983 and Marshall University in 1989. He was an employee of University of Kentucky in the Toxicology Department. One of Robert's favorite Bible verses was Ephesians 3: 14-21 where he found comfort, strength and love in our Heavenly Father. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit family one hour prior to services Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary.
